He's slumping for the first time ever, and drastic action is needed
Cubs rookie DH Moises Ballesteros is in a slump. Over his last two weeks he's slashing just .075/.156/.225. It coincided with Craig Counsell moving him up in the order to the two spot. He was hitting .423/.448/.923 while batting sixth, but he's hitting just .108/.190/.270 while hitting in the two hole. It's time to take drastic action to end his struggles.
No, I'm not talking about moving him back down the order. I'm not talking about benching him.
But it is time to bench something.
The insipid Mo' Baller nickname.
It sucks.
I've never liked it, and while it's certainly possible that the reason I hate it is because Alex Cohen was the first person I ever heard call him by it. While I might not know much, I know that if Alex Cohen thinks something is cool, then it very much is not.
What should we call him?
