The Cubs will hold their official "introductory” press conference for their new manager Craig Counsell later this morning, and I’m sure they’ll play all the hits. They’ll make him wear a jersey over his dress shirt, Bruce Levine will “welcome” him to Chicago, Sahadev will ask a nine part question about the pitch lab, and maybe, just maybe, somebody will ask him about how guilty he feels “breaking the code by taking a job when there was already a manager in the job.”
That’s just one of the burning questions I want to write about over the next few days.
So let’s get started with that one.
