The Bears have signed nine players so far in free agency. They have a few things in common. All of them are 28 years old or younger. All of them fill a gaping hole in a roster riddled with gaping holes. Many of them are originally from the Chicago area, which makes me wonder if the market inefficiency Ryan Poles is exploiting is acquiring players who can maximize their earnings by moving back in with their parents.
And it’s so telling to listen to the complaints from fans and the colossal morons on the Score’s morning show about this free agent class.
Fans immediately found fault with the signings of linebackers (with just similar enough names to confuse them) TJ Edwards and Tremaine Edmunds.
Why would you trade Roquan and then spend more money on his replacement?
