More fun, but just as bad
In a season when they are allegedly trying to win, the Bears pulled off an all-time "tank win"

It was bad enough that the Bears were 0-3 through three weeks, but it was even worse that the games were just awful to watch. Objectively they only played remotely well in about three total quarters, the first half against the Packers, in which our biggest frustration is that they should have been ahead but kept kicking field goals, and part of the first half against Tampa. The rest of it was just horrific, unwatchable, impossible to enjoy crap.
And then yesterday, they totally redeemed themselves!
OK, they partially redeemed themselves.
The offense, for much of the game, was geniuinely fun to watch. They moved the ball, they scored actual touchdowns, Justin Fields had time to throw and on a few occasions he scrambled just to find open space to throw passes because they were working. It was glorious.
And then, up 28-7 on the hapless Broncos, you could feel the tide start to turn. So much so that yours truly went to his Draft Kings app and when it was 28-14 and put a few bucks on the Broncos to win, just because…well, I’ve been watching the Bears for four decades, I think I know them a little bit.
